Perhaps, each person can find old clothes that have long been asked for scrap. Often, people immediately throw out old blouses, shirts, and jeans instead of giving them a second life. This master class will help not only step by step to make shorts from old jeans, but also teach to embroider them with ribbons. Such a creative approach will make a seemingly unnecessary thing - unique and fashionable, without putting much effort.
What do we need for this?
Old jeans - 1 pc.;
The tape is red, 5 mm. - 12 m.;
The tape is green, 5 mm. - 16 m.;
The tape is beige, 5 mm. - 12 m.;
Pink ribbon, 5 mm. - 12 m.;
Chinese beads, golden - 50 beads;
Mouline thread - 5 m.
Supporting materials
Needle for embroidery with ribbons - 1 pc.;
Needle for beadwork - 1 pc.;
Invisibility - 8 pcs.;
Also included is a sketch of the work. Green arrows indicate the direction of embroidery of leaves in roses.

Working process
1) We wash the jeans, dry them. We make markings in order to cut off the trouser legs evenly. Just in case, take the distance more - this will prevent you from unpleasant surprises.

2) We cut the legs according to size, measures. If everything is fine, then cut the length you want.

3) Tuck the edge of the legs, fasten it with invisibility. We will begin processing the edge at the very end of the work.

4) Make markup on the leg, according to the sketch. This will prevent mistakes and do the job clearly and beautifully. We begin to embroider the leg with ribbons. We take the red ribbon and embroider the closed rosebuds first. To do this, we fasten the tape from the wrong side, bring it up, perform a large stitch. The next two, on the left and right sides, are doing less.

5) Next, we proceed to embroider the roses themselves. To do this, we fix the thread on the wrong side, put it up, and imitate a certain “sun” with subsequent stitches. Make sure that the number of stitches from the middle is odd, otherwise roses will not work when embroidering.

6) We continue to embroider roses and buds around the entire perimeter, according to the sketch. We proceed to the alignment of cuttings. To do this, first we embroider the cuttings with a green ribbon on all the buds.

7) Next, embroider the leaves according to the direction. If they are uneven - do not worry, the variety and twisting of ribbons will look spectacular, because there is no symmetry in nature.

8) According to the same pattern, embroider the second part of the leg, remember that the pattern should somehow flow from one leg to another.

9) We proceed to the decoration. To begin with, floss the path to work from the base of the bud to the leaves of roses. Keep in mind that one stitch looks messy, make several that will seamlessly blend into each other.
We embroider the middle of the roses with beads. For small roses, use three beads, for large roses, you can take five. Fasten the thread on the wrong side, bring it out, grab the bead and put the needle back inside out again. Next time, repeat the same actions, but before withdrawing the needle inside out, thread the needle into the previous bead. This technique of beadwork is called "circular" - it provides a smooth transition and tight fit of beads to each other.

11) In order to complete the shorts - you can sew their tucked-up edges with your own hands, on a typewriter or just take them to the atelier - and your creative and exclusive shorts will be ready!
