For work, we will prepare the following materials:
- balloon;
- a tube of PVA glue;
- a plate for glue;
- scissors;
- a piece of cardboard;
- threads for knitting (necessarily green and light green, plus all kinds of bright shades).
First we inflate the ball and tie it so that it does not deflate. We take a plate and pour PVA glue into it. It should be diluted a little with water, so that it is more liquid. Cut the threads about 25 cm long. You will need a lot of such threads, it all depends on how big the ball is.
Threads must be immersed in a plate with glue and soaked well.
We start gluing one thread to the wide edge of the ball (opposite the tail). We must try to alternate the threads in color and each tightly pressed to the base.
As soon as the entire base is evenly filled, put the ball on a plastic bag and leave to dry all night. It’s better to bring it closer to the battery, so the craft will catch faster. In the morning, work continues. Choose bright colored threads (the more shades, the more interesting) and make small flowers.
It is necessary to cut 7-9 strings (length 3-4 cm) and stick them in the form of a spiral on a drop of glue. Although you can give them a different shape. Here are such small and pretty flowers come out.
It remains only to blow off the ball (just cut off the tail) and carefully remove it. It turns out a beautiful shape in the form of a deep bowl or plate. You can pour candy or cookies there, so the blank will serve you as a candy box.
But we have not yet made a frog. We take a thick cardboard and cut four blanks in the shape of a ring.
We fold the two smaller ones together and cut off the holes for the thread. We wind a dark green thread on one half, and a light green thread on the second. This will result in a more fun pompom.
We cut the threads between the blanks from the wide edge of the ring using a clerical knife. We bind them in the middle, straighten and get a pompom.
From the big rings we make the second pompom, bigger. Only for him it is not necessary to separate the threads, and light green and dark green should be wound together around the entire perimeter of the ring.
Glue the pompons together. Small is the head, and large is the frog's body.
It remains to "revive" our little animal. We glue the eyes, mouth, nose, make pens and a bow for the girl.
We put blue napkins (imitation of water) or a piece of fabric in the swamp form.
We populate our green toad and that's it, the work is completed.
My daughter plays with her all kinds of stories of fairy tales in which the heroes of the frog.
