Bouquets of sweets have long ceased to be a new and unusual gift. More and more, instead of fresh flowers, you can get a basket with wonderful home-made compositions and favorite sweets inside each flower. I offer a simple master class on creating a small basket without a handle with wonderful bright yellow and orange roses.
To make such a composition you will need:
1. Crepe paper (or corrugated) in the desired colors (yellow, orange).
2. Wooden skewers.
3. Candy (I have it "Martian").
4. Organza is green.
5. The basket.
6. Toothpicks.
7. Construction glue.
8. Spool of thread.
9. Foam plastic (can be replaced with polyurethane foam or sheets of substrate under the laminate).
10. Scissors.
11. Clothespin.

First, I’ll explain a little. There are crepe paper flowers in my basket. It is softer, less durable and not as lush as corrugated paper. Corrugated paper flowers are made lighter, more voluminous, and paper is much stronger. At the same time, crepe paper is more natural flowers and more accurate.
Step 1. Prepare the basket. To do this, cut a piece of polystyrene according to the inner diameter of the basket, tightly fix it in the basket and decorate with green paper. It can be done differently and much easier than with polystyrene foam. I use the rest of the backing under the laminate. I cut two circles. One is the diameter of the bottom of the basket, and the second is the diameter of the top. Insert these two circles tightly into the basket. It turns out more accurately than with foam, you can not even decorate it with anything on top. All will be covered with flowers and fungi from organza.
Step 2. Prepare the sweets. I take the Martian sweets, as they are not too large and perfectly round. We fix the candies to the skewer with a thread. You can slightly rewrap the candy so that it becomes even rounder, and the candy wrapper's tail is longer, it will be more convenient to fasten it with a thread. We make as many sweets as we consider necessary (based on the size of your basket).
Step 3. Make roses. To do this, cut a piece from the edge of the paper roll from the edge, as needed for making roses, while the height of the length of the petal will be unchanged. We wind off an accordion of six petals from a cut roll, with the help of scissors we give a rounded shape, that is, we cut off the top in a circle. From the bottom we cut the corners. At the same time, we cut so that the accordion does not suffer. We make one more accordion, but we cut out six separate rose petals from it without preserving the integrity of the accordion.

First, wrap the candy with the first accordion, tie it with a tighter thread and carefully form the necessary folds of the bud with your hands. Then we apply the remaining six petals in a different order and we also tie them with a thread. Beforehand, slightly deform the petals with your hands, making a recess under them in candy. This should be done carefully and not so much so as not to tear the paper. Twist the edges of the petals with a scissor blade.

Next, cut a small ribbon of green paper and tighten the stem of our flower. There is not much glue required. It is enough to put glue under the bud and fix it at the end.

So we make fluffy roses in yellow and orange. Plus, we’ll make a few more roses without separate petals, that is, rose buds.
Step 4. We make organza nuts for decoration. Cut a lot of small squares of organza, about 5 to 5 centimeters, again, come from the size of your basket. We twist the isosceles triangle from the square of organza twice and attach a drop of glue to the toothpick. Clothespins are very helpful in this. We press the junction with the clothespin and wait for complete drying, otherwise the organza will detach from the toothpick. It is even better to use construction glue instead of ordinary PVA glue, it dries faster and holds together much better!

When all the elements are ready, we begin to collect the flower basket. We insert into the polystyrene first fungi from organza along the edges, and then roses. Funtiki can decorate the space between roses too!
Enjoy a bright bouquet of wonderful yellow and orange roses!
