In this review, the author shows how to make a pot with pockets for plants with your own hands. The sewer pipe acts as the main material.
The first step is to cut a piece of plastic pipe of a suitable size. Then it will be necessary to clean the surface with sandpaper.
Further, the author draws two longitudinal lines, dividing the pipe exactly in half.
We retreat from the edge of the pipe 5-7 cm, after which we warm this place with a construction hairdryer. Using a piece of wood, flatten the edge of the pipe.
At the other end of the sewer PVC pipe we do the same.
The main stages of work
We cut off uneven edges with a hacksaw. The remaining edges are processed with sandpaper. Thus, we get a hermetically sealed flask.
At the next stage, the author makes a marking on the pipe, placing all the "pockets" for the plants in a checkerboard pattern.
Next, we heat the pipe sections one at a time and form “pockets”. They can be made by hand, but be sure to wear a glove.
The finished pot will only have to be painted in a suitable color. In the upper part, we drill holes into which we put a chain or rope so that you can hang the pot on the wall or under the ceiling.
