In this review, the author shows the process of making a home-made "meat grinder" for ears of corn. As a drive, you can use a drill or a screwdriver.

With this device, you can grind the corn grains without breaking them from the ears.

The first step is to cut a piece of pipe with a diameter of about 50 mm (the length of the workpiece is slightly larger than the length of the ears of corn).

Then from a piece of board or plywood you need to cut two circles - these will be plugs for the pipe.

We drill holes in the circles of the desired diameter, press them into the ends of the pipe, then insert a piece of the stud and fix it with nuts.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, we cut off a piece of sheet metal in size and use a nail to punch holes in it. And then we put it on the shaft.

From a tree or plywood, it is necessary to assemble a rectangular box, inside which there will be a shaft.

We fasten the wooden legs to the box. Inside the box we fasten a piece of aluminum sheet through which crushed corn grains will fall into a bowl or tray.

After that, we sheathe the inner walls of the housing where the shaft is located, with sheet metal. You also need to make a cover.

The inside of the lid also needs to be sheathed with sheet metal. This is necessary to make it easier to clean the "meat grinder" after work.
