In this review, the author shows how you can make an imitation of wild stone on the fence posts. This is easy to do using a cement-sand mortar.
This technology is simple and most importantly - it saves money, since you don’t have to buy a wild stone for facing.
In order to be able to apply this technology, the poles must be concrete. How to make them, you can see in this review.
Solution preparation
First of all, it will be necessary to prepare a stucco mortar based on cement and river sand.
The author also adds tile adhesive, liquid soap, and fiberglass to the solution.
The proportions are as follows: 5 shovels of river sand, 2.5 shovels of cement and half a bag of tile glue. Knead the solution in a concrete mixer.
The main stages of work
Before proceeding with plastering the column, it is necessary to moisten the surface of concrete with water.
After that, with the help of a trowel, we apply the solution on the spatula, and already with a spatula we distribute it evenly over the entire surface of the column. Layer thickness - 5-10 mm.
Simultaneously with the application of the stucco mortar, a relief must be formed on the surface. Using a wet brush, smooth out all sharp edges.
We wait about 2-3 hours until the solution dries, and then proceed to "cutting" the stones. A level is required to ensure that the seams are even.
