In this review, the author shows how to make a simple universal stand for electric drill and grinder (angle grinder).
Having such a stand in a home workshop or garage, you can drill holes in the workpieces, as well as cut metal with a grinder (round and profile pipes, strips, corners, etc.).
First of all, the author glues together two pieces of plywood 20 mm thick - this will be the base of the rack.
In one of the sheets, you need to cut a square hole into which a wooden block is inserted.
For a more reliable fixation of the bar, the author uses two pieces of metal corner, which are attached to the base and stand with bolts.
The main stages of work
The author fastens four furniture guides to the counter (wooden block). The mating parts of the guides are screwed to plywood boards that are joined together. The result is a movable carriage.
The author fastens the mount for the grinder to one side of the carriage, and installs the mount for the electric drill on the other.
In order for the carriage to return up after lowering, it will be necessary to install two springs. After that, the author installs an electric drill with an angle grinder in its "seats".
