For more convenient transportation of the cable around the site, as well as for its transportation, a homemade electric extension cord made of a plastic canister is useful.
The first thing to do is to drill two large holes on the sides of the plastic canister. For this, the master uses a hole saw of a suitable diameter.
Next, you need to cut off a piece of sewer plastic pipe with a grinder, which then will need to be inserted into the holes drilled in the canister.
The main stages of work
We drill a hole in the PVC sewer pipe and insert the end of the wire into it. Then we connect the outlet and install it in the end of the pipe. We insert the plastic pipe into the holes in the canister.
From a piece of plywood, the author cuts a handle, puts it on the end of a plastic pipe and fastens it with screws. With this handle, you can wind the cable around the reel.
We drill a hole in the lid of the canister and pass a wire through it. Then we wrap the lid on the canister, and the homemade product is ready. It turned out quickly, cheaply and cheerfully.
