In this review, the author shares the idea of how to make with your own hands a very simple home-made wind-blown nozzle on a grinder (angle grinder). The main material is sheet metal with a thickness of 2-3 mm.

First of all, it will be necessary to make markings and cut from the sheet metal two halves of the casing for the windshield nozzle. The edges of the workpieces need to be filed or on a grinding machine.

After that, in the workpieces with the help of a grinder or drill, it is necessary to cut two round holes. Moreover, in one half of the casing there should be a large hole, and in the other - a smaller diameter.

The main stages of work

In the next step, you will need to make a disk with blades, which will pump air. To do this, the author cuts the disk from a piece of plate, and then welds blades to it (you can make them from a piece of strip).

Next, you need to weld the nozzle cover itself from two halves. But first, the author makes a fastening clamp on the angle grinder, and welds it to one of the previously cut blanks.

Then it remains only to clean the welds and paint the finished casing. The assembled nozzle is mounted on the grinder. The disk with blades is put on a shaft and fixed by a clamping nut.
