From an ordinary tablespoon (from stainless steel or cupronickel) you can make an original knife with a skull with your own hands. It can be used as a cutlery or in a workshop - for example, to cut the packaging of film and tape.
However, most of all such a homemade knife is suitable for the "role" of a stylish decorative element - for example, for the same kitchen interior. In general, the subject is quite universal; finding it worthy of use will not be difficult.
To make an original knife with a skull with your own hands, the first thing you need to do is draw the picture itself on the convex part of the spoon. And for this, it is best to use not a regular, but a permanent marker.
The main stages of work
After the skull itself has been drawn, we clamp the spoon in a bench vise or with a clamp, take a grinder and cut off the excess metal along the contour. If the spoon is made of stainless steel, then try not to overheat it excessively so that there is no runaway.
Ideally, use a drill for such work. You can also cut it with a manual jigsaw. True, it will take more time. But the risk of overheating the metal is minimal. Then we drill holes under the eyes and nostrils.
