Modern jewelry amazes with its unusual and original look. Today, almost any item, be it food or a living creature, can serve as an inspiration for creating a great accessory. This workshop will tell you how you can easily and simply make an interesting keychain in the form of an onigiri from plastic with your own hands.
Onigiri is a Japanese dish plastered in a triangle of rice and wrapped in a sheet of nori. Such an original keychain in the form of Japanese food will appeal to any connoisseur of oriental culture and will be interested in his surroundings.

To make such a “tasty” product, we need to purchase three types of plastic: black, swamp green and white. We also take foil and stationery knife, which are useful to us when working with plastic.

From fittings we need:
• metal ring;
• connecting rings (2 pcs.);
• chain 4 cm long.

From a half prepared piece of white plastic we sculpt a triangle.

The remaining half is rolled into a sausage with a diameter of 5 mm.

We cut the prepared plastic sausage into discs 1-2 mm thick.

From the obtained elements we mold rice grains. There should be a lot of such figs - 60-80 pieces.

Arbitrarily stick pictures on the workpiece triangle from all sides. We pay special attention to the upper part of the workpiece, since the bottom will partially be covered with a sheet of nori.

We well knead the plastic of swamp green and black, and then mix these two colors - carefully knead the pieces together until we get a plain dark green color. Knead and stretch our workpiece with your fingers to form a rectangle 1 mm thick.

Nori leaf - compressed algae into a layer having an interesting texture. To achieve the formation of a similar texture on our plastic rectangle is our task. The effect of punch, like a sheet of nori, we will do with foil. Well, crush it in your hands, and then press it with our dark green rectangle of plastic. In some places of the workpiece, where the pretension of the foil is poorly printed, we repeat the procedure, applying the most dented parts of the foil with patting movements.

Cut off the curved edges of the workpiece, forming a regular rectangle.

We stick a rice triangle from plastic obtained by an element - a plastic sheet of nori. Our miniature onigiri is ready! It remains to bake and attach the accessories.

We make a hole for the connecting ring in the upper part of the onigiri and send the workpiece to the oven, which was previously heated to 110 ° C. The baking process will take 25 minutes.
After our product cools down, we can begin to attach the accessories - first we connect a small ring with a chain, then we pass it into the hole made in the upper corner of the onigiri, this is a connecting ring, and then we attach a key ring to the other end of the chain.

The original onigiri keychain is ready, you just have to attach it to the keychain!
