In this review, the author shows the process of making a homemade wrench for socket heads. As the main material, a stabilizer from VAZ 2106 is used (suitable for another car).
The diameter of the stabilizer is 20 mm. Steel is good (spring-spring), and is great for making wrenches.
The first step is to heat and level the bar. To do this, you need a muffle furnace or a homemade hearth and accessories for blacksmithing.

The main stages of work
At the next stage, we heat the end of the bar and, using a sledgehammer, give it a tetrahedral shape - to the size of the end head.
Then we heat the bar again, clamp it in a bench vise and bend it at an angle of 90 degrees.
Then the author again heats the bar and does the hardening of the metal in oil.
Power wrenches for the socket heads are ready, and you can already use them for their intended purpose.
