In order to add some zest to the home interior, as well as add a little coziness and comfort to it, you can make a small cushioned table with your own hands. For this, the author decided to use a combination of metal and wood.

From metal, pieces of a building corner and a profile pipe will be required. For the manufacture of countertops, the author uses wood, cement mortar and epoxy.

First of all, it will be necessary to cut off four pieces of the corner, and weld from them a small square-shaped frame. Welds will need to be cleaned with a grinder.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the author welds two racks from the profile pipe to the frame, and between them a couple of jibs (also from the profile) for greater rigidity of the entire structure.

After that, it will be necessary to weld another frame of a square shape, but already from a profile pipe. This will be the base of the table. Further, the author welds the base to the free ends of the uprights.

Then you need an end saw cut of the tree. The workpiece must be marked and cut into four "slices".

We make the mold, put the “slices” of wood into it, then fill it with cement mortar to about half. After the solution dries, fill it with epoxy.

Then it remains only to process the countertop, give it a beautiful appearance and screw it to the top of the frame. For details on how to make a stylish table for yourself, see the video on the website.
