In this review, the author demonstrates the process of manufacturing a homemade mini grinding machine based on a small grinder (angle grinder). The design is very simple, and everyone can make such a machine.
From the main tool for work, you will need a drill or a drilling machine, a grinder or a cutting machine and a welding machine.
To make the bed and mount, the author uses a profile pipe and a metal plate. And first you need to cut the first "portion" of the workpieces.
From three pieces of a metal plate, the author welds a mount for a grinder. Holes for bolts must be drilled in the two side plates so that they can be attached to the housing of the angle grinder.
In the upper plate, the author made two transverse grooves at the edges. This is necessary in order to be able to move the grinder back and forth on the base (bed).
Grinding machine manufacturing process
At the next stage, it is necessary to cut a piece of profile and drill two through holes in it. We insert bolts into them and scald. The resulting part will be attached to the upper mounting plate for angle grinders.
Then it will be necessary to cut four more pieces of the profile pipe, the edges must be cut at an angle of 45 degrees. Grind the workpiece.
Next, you need to weld from the profiles a square frame (the base of the machine) and attach the mount for angle grinders to it.
At the last stage, it remains only to make a table for workpieces, which can be adjusted in height. And then we install the grinder.
