This homemade machine is designed for the manufacture of springs of different lengths and thicknesses at home. The design of the device itself is very simple, so everyone can make such a device. The basis of this homemade product is black metal, which can be found without problems in the garage, in the country or in the home workshop.
To make a home-made machine, you will need a section of a profile pipe of rectangular cross section with dimensions of 40x25 mm, a small piece of a round inch and a segment from a three-quarter pipe, as well as a piece of a plate 4.5 cm wide and 3 mm thick.
The main stages of work
First of all, from a 40x25 mm rectangular profile, it is necessary to cut one piece 40 cm long, as well as two pieces 5 cm long. Then all three workpieces must be rigidly connected to each other: two "shorts" are welded along the edges of the 40-cm section of the profile pipe.
Two pieces must be cut from a three-quarter steel pipe: one is 6 cm long, the second is 10 cm. Next, go to the inch pipe - with a grinder or with a band saw you need to cut one piece of it 5.5 cm long, and also four pieces of length 20 mm.
Then, in a segment of a three-quarter pipe with a length of 15 cm, drill holes and select a groove. After that, you can begin to assemble a homemade device. First you need to weld a short shaft with spacer sleeves at the edges, after which a second shaft is welded on the other side of the machine bed. Next, a handle and a steel nozzle are made.
